The primary challenge in this project was to present the complex processes of our IT solutions in an easily understandable way. Our aim was to ensure that users could grasp our services within 5 to 9 seconds of visiting the website, emphasizing a clean design structure with a blend of brand colors and diverse color codes. Key metrics we focused on included loading website content in 1 to 2 seconds depending on the user's location and ensuring that users understand our services and work process in less than a minute. A significant challenge was increasing user engagement on our landing page, aiming for a 7% click rate and a 1% retention rate in the first phase.
In this streamlined project, my role was pivotal as the Frontend Developer and UI/UX Designer, working closely with Amin, the Product Manager, and Hamoun, the Sales Manager. My focus was on creating a user interface that not only attracted IT professionals but also communicated our services efficiently and effectively.
The research phase involved identifying strategies to communicate complex services visually with minimal text. We explored various icon packs and design factors like brainstorming and time management to enhance user experience. Our research indicated a 5% user retention rate after visitors arrived at our DBP landing page from Google ads.
Our primary target group comprises IT professionals in companies seeking the best solutions for their organization. They prioritize trustworthiness and simplicity in systems, often struggling to transition from traditional to modern systems. Identifying the right keywords for advertising and ensuring users understand our services quickly were major challenges.
To address these pain points, we developed a two-part solution:
This was implemented through a concise sentence on the first slider and a services page with icons, enabling users to find relevant services in less than 10 seconds.
We validated our ideas by focusing on the two main aspects of conveying who we are and what services we offer. The solutions included:
Our final design is a testament to our goal of simplicity and clarity.
Our approach resulted in a positive shift in user engagement metrics. We successfully managed to:
Personal Learnings: This project reinforced the importance of clear communication in design and the power of visual elements in conveying complex ideas.
Future Goals: Building on this success, we aim to further refine user experience and explore new ways to engage our target audience.
